CO-OWNER / SATTVA YOGA / HATHA / YIN YOGA
Shannon Barnes
Yoga came into Shannon’s life after experiencing extreme burnout, chronic stress and chronic inflammation leaving her bed ridden for 6 months. This guided her into a new direction looking for alternative ways to self-heal and eventually following her heart to Bali where she started a healing journey. This time away allowed her to slow down and tune inwards without distraction, being guided by practices such a Yoga. Through this experience, she discovered her passion and went on to pursue 1000+ hours of training across Yoga, Sound Healing and Himalayan Breathwork. The practices Shannon teaches are intentionally taught to regulate your nervous system, invoke mind-body coherence and to allow one to access their own inner wisdom.

HATHA / VINYASA / YIN YOGA
Suzi Joseph
I am a lover of the sunshine, ocean and nature. My goal in life is to live in a way that’s true to my heart, challenge my boundaries, and live a life of compassion and freedom. I am drawn to healing practices that connect us to our own inner wisdom and spirit: practices that allow us to become more present, grounded and embodied in our everyday lives. My classes are centred around breath and body awareness, moving slowly with focus on intention and presence, allowing space for stillness and inner listening. I am grateful to have a career doing what I love. I believe that my certification as a Master Coach in NLP, Time Line Therapy, Mediation, Yoga Nidra and the teachings of Yoga (Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa) is the greatest gift I have been given, and I am honoured to share these gifts with you.

SIVANANDA HATHA YOGA
Jill Snyder
Starting at a young age in gymnastics and dancing, movement has always been Jill’s passion. In college she took her first yoga class which began a new passion. Her practice ranged from hot yoga to vinyasa to yin, but when she decided she wanted to become a yoga practitioner she wanted to learn the traditional form and connect with a higher energy. Jill works as a Registered nurse, so her understanding of yoga’s correlation the anatomy and physiology of body is much deeper while also understanding the links between the body, mind, and spirit. Her relationship with yoga is a lifelong journey that she wants use to help guide others with their own.

HATHA / YIN YOGA
Tiina Pakkanen
Yoga has been part of my life for a long time. I deepened my practice while I was traveling around Australia and found some peaceful moments in a yoga room. Later on I made Australia my second home, became a teacher and have been sharing teachings of yoga ever since in a way that feels authentic to me. I love the wholesome feeling I get through movement, pranayama and meditation and include these aspects of yoga in my classes as well. I teach Hatha and Yin which is a big passion of mine. My biggest value as a teacher is to create a safe, inclusive space for anyone to practice in. I always want to be a student first and stay open for learning through trainings and people who join me for classes.

YIN / HATHA YOGA
Jenny Gould
Jen came to yoga in her 50s during a time of profound personal change—including menopause, a marriage breakdown, and thyroid disease. What began as a way to regulate her nervous system and find stability soon evolved into a deeper journey of healing and transformation. Though she initially pursued teacher training to deepen her own practice, Jen has been teaching since 2020. Her yin classes offer a calm, nurturing space to reconnect with your true self. Using long-held poses and somatic cues, Jen guides students in releasing tension stored in the fascia, allowing space to soften and the nervous system to reset. Jen believes in the deep wisdom we all carry within and the quiet power of yin yoga to restore balance from the inside out.

Osteopath & Women’s Pelvic Health Educator
Kay Fairweather
Kay is an osteopath with a strong foundation in healthcare science, having graduated from Plymouth Marjon University, England with a Bachelor of Healthcare Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine. Her passion for holistic care and healing led her to complete additional postgraduate training in craniosacral therapy at the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy in the UK, and in women’s pelvic health at the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute of Australia. Her advanced training includes internal pelvic floor strength and prolapse assessment and treatment as well as birth preparation. Kay is passionate about helping her patients understand the critical role of the nervous system in pain and overall wellbeing. Kay was awarded a scholarship with the University of South Australia which brings the latest pain research to rural Australia. This aligns with her commitment to empowering patients through education, providing them with the knowledge and tools to manage their health long-term. When the body functions in harmony, it performs optimally, healing from trauma and defending against illness. However, disruptions to this balance can occur, some temporary and others long-lasting. The sooner we recognize these imbalances, the sooner we can address them. Kay helps patients tune in to areas of tension and encourages self-awareness, guiding them to release those tensions and regain harmony. By using techniques such as massage, manipulation, stretching and articulation she works with the body’s natural healing processes to reduce restrictions, improve movement and relieve pain. Kay empowers her patients with the knowledge and tools to restore functional balance and manage their health long-term. Whether you are experiencing aches, pains, movement restrictions, have pelvic concerns or would like advice through pregnancy, Kay’s approach is designed to support you in achieving comfort, improved function, and lasting wellbeing.

Naturopath
Lucy Hearne
A comprehensive Naturopathic medicine service by Lucy Hearne, who holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) from Endeavour College of Natural Health, Sydney. Like many, Lucy’s journey began with her own health struggles—gut issues, low energy and mood, anxiety, and painful periods—all made worse by poor diet and lifestyle habits. These challenges created a disconnect between mind and body, and despite seeking help, she was unable to find lasting answers through conventional approaches. Trusting that there had to be more, Lucy followed her instinct to educate herself. A consultation with a Naturopath opened her eyes to the complex role of gut health in overall wellbeing. She went on to work in health food stores, connecting with others facing similar struggles, and eventually moved to Sydney to pursue a degree in Naturopathy. Her four-year program included a year of supervised clinical practice, where she helped hundreds of people from all walks of life move toward better health. Her own healing journey—supported by herbal and nutritional medicine, yoga, meditation, counselling, and community—has profoundly improved her physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. This personal transformation fuels her passion to support others with care and compassion. Lucy commonly treats gut conditions (IBS, IBD, SIBO), mental health concerns (anxiety, depression), and women’s reproductive issues (painful periods, PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, PCOS). After years of study, practice, and personal growth, Lucy is committed to offering holistic, personalised care that empowers her clients to feel truly seen, heard, and supported on their healing journey.
